Driven by the message behind the elimination of animal fur from its collections (followed by goose down and angora wool), Elisabetta Franchi embarked on an increasingly ambitious journey focused on the protection and welfare of animals.
A journey that anticipated the sensitivity people have today: animals are sentient beings and, like humans, they experience strong and lasting emotions.
Today, the Foundation carries out innovative projects dedicated to animal welfare, working across many areas that often also include support for vulnerable communities.
The Foundation supports numerous shelters, sanctuaries for abused animals living freely, cat shelters, and urgent situations where timely intervention is essential to rescue animals in need.
We support volunteers and feel deeply connected to them, because thanks to their commitment, thousands of animals can be cared for and loved every single day.
“We do not need to wear fur for our vanity”
This remains the motto at the core of the Foundation and reflects the company’s philosophy which, through joining the Dog Hospitality project in 2013, became the first company in Italy to open its doors to employees’ pets.
Every day, employees bring their four-legged friends to the office, improving the workplace atmosphere and bringing positivity.
Our daily activity represents who we are, and there are truly countless requests for help that require our intervention every day.

All proceeds are donated to the Foundation to support projects dedicated to protecting animals in need through food donations, adoption support, the fight against abuse and abandonment, and fundraising for veterinary care.
A commitment the brand continues to pursue by increasingly embracing the use of cruelty-free and fur-free materials. This journey aims toward a more responsible use of raw materials, progressively reducing the presence of animal-derived components, in line with the moral, social, and ethical principles that guide the company and which the Foundation represents.
This project, like many promoted by the Foundation, was born from shared participation and the desire to contribute to a common good and to a mission that is deeply felt and lived every day. Numerous local and artisanal realities contributed to the creation of this initiative.
